Check your tire pressure

It is crucial that pneumatic tires be checked while cold every 15 days, and before and during long trips: the tire must not have been used for at least two hours or have been driven less than 2 miles and at low speed. Allow for a readjustment if the inspection is done after having been used (while hot). In this case, please consult the manufacturer’s recommendations.

  • Never deflate a tire while it is hot
  • Don’t forget to replace the valve cap after the inspection
  • Using nitrogen to inflate your tires does not exempt them from regular check-ups
  • Respect the pressures recommended by the motorcycle manufacturer

These recommendations apply to pneumatic tires used on roads. On the circuit, and more generally in competition, there are separate recommendations to follow.
