*Braking tests on wet surfaces and extremely slippery wet surfaces performed by Dekra in July 2013 with new tires and tires already used for 3,000 miles, comparing the MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 with the DUNLOP Sportmax Roadsmart II, METZELER Roadtec Z8 Interact M/O, PIRELLI Angel GT Gran Tourismo, and BRIDGESTONE Battlax Sport Touring T30F sized 120/70 R 17 M/C 58W (front) and 180/55 ZR17 M/C 73W (back).

About a year ago I bought my first street bike. A 2009 Kawasaki Zx10r that had a new set of tires thanks to the new owner. They turned out to be Pilot Road 4s but I didn't have a clue what that was. The longevity and durability of these tires, especially in wet weather, is unparralled. Living in Florida, we get a lot of heavy rain in the summertime. I got caught one day I a rainstorm and couldn't see 6ft in front of me. Suddenly the car in front of me slammed on their brakes and immediately I did the same. To my surprise, i did not slide or lose traction one bit. At over 12 thousand long miles the Road 4 is now coming to its end. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything by the brand Michelin, and I didn't even pay for them haha. However, I already ordered my next tire. Went with something a little more sporty. The Michelin Power RS and I can't wait! Trust your tires! Trust Michelin!

Got 12000 miles on my first pair (Pilot Road 4 GTs) and I just put on my second pair. These are better that the original brand I had on the bike, better that the Pilot Road 3s I had on the bike previously, and better than two other brands I had on my previous bike. "Better" is not just a reflection of wear. The wet tracking gives me confidence. They are smooth and quiet. And the look is great. I don't think there's a better tire out there for my bike.

      Mark - July 24, 2017

In 2015 my wife and rode our BMW motorcycle from Columbia Missouri through Yellowstone National Park up to a rally in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, a beautiful 4 day ride. Soon after our arrival I received word that my Father had under gone surgery that did not turn out well. We did not know how long he would live and left right away on a 32 hour ride from Coeur d'Alene to Evanston, Illinois stopping to sleep only two hours. We arrived safe and said our final good bye to my Dad. The next day we left for an 8 hour ride home first stopping for breakfast. It was then my wife noted the steel was showing through our rear tire. In our rush to see my Dad before his passing I had neglected to the cycle tires. We were riding on a tire that was long over do for changing. I'm just thankful we were riding on a Michelin tires. I don't plan to change to another brand. on our cycle or family automobiles. Thank you for making a product that has extra safety built into it Sincerely, Mark Sieber
